July Prayers Week 1

ByBrandon Charbonneau

Prayer List

Leaders – This weeks prayers is for our leaders, Hunter is having some unfortuanate care troubles, a few have reported the typical “summer funk” where it is harder to pursue Christ outside of fellowship.

The University – I will be handing out lemonade on the 13th and 17th on Campus as orientation is now broken up into multiple chunks over the summer.

New Students – I had a mother cantact me about her student coming up and her fears about him finding faithful community. A very true thing occurring right now is the lack of fidelity to scripture and its appearing everywhere. Pray for incoming students to find faithful fathers and not just people looking to gain followers.

When we cannot pray as we would, it is good to pray as we can. If I feel myself disinclined to pray, then is the time when I need to pray more than ever. Prayer is the natural outgushing of a soul in communion with Jesus. – C.H. Spurgeon

Prayer List Campus House – We have put an offer in for 550k towards a 14 bedroom campus house (with 9 bathrooms) in Hancock. We have 9 students looking to live in it next year, and it would allow us to do much more ministry during events like parades and even host things due to the space that is available. It is a historic building in Hancock, in the dead center of town and would greatly increase our ability to reach the school and expand to the local schools. We want to start doing…
