Prayer Request for November
Prayer ListCampus House – We have put an offer in for 550k towards a 14 bedroom campus house (with 9 bathrooms) in Hancock. We have 9 students looking to live in it next year, and it would allow us to do much more ministry during events like parades and even host things due to the space that is available. It is a historic building in Hancock, in the dead center of town and would greatly increase our ability to reach the school and expand to the local schools. We want to start doing discipleship and evangelism and bible studies at the local K-12 schools. Please pray for the current owner to accept this offer, which is approximately 100k less than his desire. Fundraising – Sion and myself are both in the process of fundraising so that Sion can be paid full time and to start collecting for a down payment for the campus house. Please pray and share this with those you know who long to see the kingdom of God advancing in our town. A university Class – We have approached the university about teaching a class at the university under their new program titled “essential education” where we would get to host a bible study for class credit. We are hoping to do this in Fall of 2026. My energy – I have been feeling drained a bit a disorientated for about a month. Sometimes going to the gym helps but it is a large drain on me. Pray for my recovery and continued work. My Family – Pray for Jennifer as she is learned to manage the three children now and balance all the things she longs to do around the house. Pray for Abigial and Elisbeth to be patient towards their new brother. Sion – Sion looks forward to being married one day, and so I can ask that you would ask God to send Sion a suitable helper for the work of ministry here. Evangelism – Pray for our churches in Evangel Presbytery and students in Serve The King Ministries to be ignited by a zeal for evangelism. Pray that we would “desire all men to be saved” and eagerly work toward that end.
Matthew 19:26: “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible”
Small note: These have been reduced to once a month as the workload has increased! I apologize and if you want to keep more in touch please follow us on social media. To God be the Glory Brandon Charbonneau |
