STK Prayer 1/12-17 Retreat, Time management, Simplicity
Prayer ListPrayer Retreat – We have our inaugural STK retreat, with Pastor Stephen Baker leading us in Prayer. Please be praying for him and us as we travel and reflect and prepare. Growth of the Simple gospel – The gospel is really simple, Christianity is really simple. It’s the applications it takes that are complex. Pray for students to understand how and have the faith to share their faith simply, in the complex situations. My Sanity – A little dramatic, but there is a lot to do. I have an extra seminary course this semester and with Elisabeth getting closer to walking things are taking off (and being taken off). Please pray for Jen and I as we attempt to balance this crazy point in our lives. “Some people think God does not like to be troubled with our constant coming and asking. The way to trouble God is not to come at all.” D.L. Moody
Campus Ministry ThoughtsThe year is starting off with a bang as it seems. Hot Cocoa, students, our very first retreat, classes, and more. Yet, I am mostly driven by the idea of prayer for this year. I don’t have much to add to that, other than prayer is a simple, yet effective way to see God working in your own life. To God be the Glory Brandon Charbonneau |
