Prayer is the fuel for the fire of ministry around the world, and we want to keep it as stoked as possible. As often as you have time to offer prayers to our God about what’s going on up here we are thankful for those prayers and for your support.

The semester has started, and every semester I am constantly reminded of the work that has to be done on campuses and in people’s lives. I am honored to be able to evangelize, preach, and teach students who God is, and even the smallest victories are of great encouragement.

This email will probably have to switch to Mondays with my current workload, I apologize for any inconvenience in that.

Prayers for MTU

Evangelism We handed out 20 gallons of lemonade on Monday, the first time running out ever. We got to share who we are and why Christ is Worthy. Please pray for students, for the Holy Spirit, and for the work of our hands.

Canoe Trip We’re taking 30 students to go canoeing this Saturday to Au Train. Prayer for relationships and growth amongst students, this is where fellowship is grown, when we learn to grow and learn from one another.

Tabling/Hot Dogs This week starts our evening evangelism on Friday nights where we hand out hot dogs to the drunk college students walking home. Please be praying for safety, for God to protect His children from sin, and for God to convict unbelievers of their sin, that we may share with them the Joy of Christ.

In order to provide for my family, I have taken up teaching at the Christian school to be a stop gap for fundraising. I have also came under care of the Evangel Presbytery, who is completely covering my schooling for this semester finances wise. They are helping me figure out some of the finesse of another venture we have, which is planting a church in Houghton of which STK would be working out of since our endeavors to get connected with a local church failed. This is not necessarily “official” or anything of the sorts, but in the beginning stages as multiple sources have been looking to plant a Presbyterian Church in Houghton for some time. The Scope of the work in Houghton is large, and I want to thank you for making it all possible.

Thank you all for your prayers and God Bless you and your families.
